Qualifications:
• 18 years of age or older
• Pass PA State Patrol Criminal Background Check
• Pass background check – criminal, (comprehensive!) social security number(identification) verification, consumer credit
• Legally able to work in US (eg work permit or us citizenship)
• Pass pre-employment screening for honesty and reliability
• Verifiable references (minimum of 2) Work history for 5 years
• A minimum of two years hands-on home care experience
• Proficiency in written and oral English
• Ability to communicate well
• Ability and willingness to provide care for people from various backgrounds without regard to race, religion, gender, culture, sexual orientation, disability, or financial condition
• For caregivers who provide transportation services, a good driving record and proof of automobile liability insurance in the amount required by state law
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. These may include: bending, stooping, carrying, pushing and lifting, working around fumes/chemicals (household cleaners) and dust, assisting another person with personal hygiene functions
